Friedeberg Kids is a family owned business created by Diana Friedeberg, daughter of renowned artist Pedro Friedeberg, and her husband Clemens Welter. The couple created the company after becoming parents and experiencing first-hand how much their toddler loved wooden building blocks and how good playing with these was for his development. They appreciated the benefits this sort of play had for his fine motor skills, coordination and general creativity: from towers to horse stables, from small cars to huge trucks, little Demian spent hours in a colorful, imaginary world where impossible constructions were made possible.

Diana and Clemens thought of creating a line of toys and kids products that would be both beautiful and unique Pedro Friedeberg designs, as well as sustainable, toxic-free and safe for children of all ages. The toys would not only engage young minds in building fantastic creations but would also teach them to appreciate art and architecture and foment their natural curiosity.
